| Sargun inquires welfare of retired Police Officers and Personnel | |
Leh,April 24, (Scoop News)-The SSP Leh Ms. Sargun Shukla, IPS, convened an interaction session with the retired Police Officers of Leh District at DPL Choglamsar which was aimed at enquiring their welfare and address their issues. The meeting was also attended by Dy. SP Hqr. Leh Mr. Suraj Singh, Dy. SP, Dar, Mr. Sonam Dorjay, Mr. Mohd Aslam Mir, Dy. SP, Armed in addition to around 30 retired Police personnel.
Sh. P Sonam retired Addl. SP, who is now the President of Retired Police Welfare Association put forth several concerns and grievances and sought SSP’s supports to resolve them. Many of individual issues also came into limelight and discussed for bringing possible solution.
The SSP, Leh assured to look into all their genuine grievances and address those that can be done at the level of district police office and for those that need to be elevated beyond the district police office shall be taken up with higher authorities. They were all assured that their welfare is a priority and endeavor of District Police Leh shall be to convene such meetings on a regular bases. The meeting ended with tea and vote of thanks.
