Commandant JKAP 8th Bn dedicates passanger shed to the public in Ganderbal


Ganderbal ,April 24, (Scoop News)- A passenger shed constructed by JKAP 8th Battalion of Jammu and Kashmir Police at Chak-e-Yangoora Manasbal in District Ganderbal was today dedicated to the public.

The facility was inaugurated by Commandant JKAP 8th Bn Shri J.S Johar along with the senior citizens of the area in a simple function attended by a large number of people from Manasbal and adjacent areas. The passenger shed has been constructed under the J&K Police's Civic Action Programme 2017-18.

On the occassion commandant Shri Johar while interacting with the people highlighted the role of Jammu and Kashmir Police working under the directions of senior officers in building the sustainable assets for the local community which would go a long way in maintaining the healthy Police - Public relationship. It is an effort of Jammu and Kashmir police to construct a facility for the general public so as passangers waiting on road do not have any inconvenience, he added.
Among others Shri Bashir Ahmad Dy. SP Adjutant and other officers/officials of the Battalion were present on the occasion.
