| CEC reviews 19th KBR Birth Centenary celebration arrangements | | 
Leh,May 14, (Scoop News)-In connection with the closing ceremony celebration of the 19th Kushok Bakula Rinpoche (KBR) Birth Centenary on May 19, the Chief Executive Councillor Dorjey Motup today reviewed the arrangements made by the District Administration for the smooth conduct of the grand function which will also be attended by the Prime Minister.
EC Agriculture Tsering Wangdus, EC Health Gyal P Wangyal, Deputy Commissioner Avny Lavasa, SSP Sargun Shukla, Chairman 19th KBR Committee Prof. Geshe Konchok Wangdus, LBA Vice President PT Kunzang besides representatives of the Centenary Committee, officers of civil and police administration were present on the occasion.
CEC Dorjey Motup directed the district administration to put up their sincere efforts in making best possible arrangements like accommodation of VVIPs, security, sanitation, transport, uninterrupted power supply, seating, parking, and preparation of stage with decoration, barricading, drinking water, and health facility at the venue.
He directed the Executive Engineer Construction Division for proper leveling of premises and upgradation of in and around link roads of the venue. He asked Administrator MC to ensure proper arrangements of toilets for general public.
