| Minor girl recovered; Kidnapper arrested | |
Srinagar, May 14, (Scoop News)-On 10th of May 2018, one person Mohd Yaseen Handoo son of Mohd Ramzan Handoo resident of Leharwalpora Bandipora lodged a written complaint in Police Station Bandipora that on 9th of May 2018 his sister (name withheld), about 15 years of age, went from her home for some personal work and did not return back.
The complaint further reads that they searched for her on their own and got to know that she was kidnapped by one person namely Mohd Shafi Ganie son of Mohd Ramzan Ganie resident of Dangerpora Sopore.
On receipt of this complaint, a case FIR number 65/2018 under section 363 RPC was registered in Police Station Bandipora. After hectic efforts by Police, the girl was traced from Handwara and the accused involved was arrested. After completion of legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her family.
