Srinagar, May 16, (Scoop News)-PCPG meeting was held at police station Zakoora on 15.5.2018. With an aim to strengthen relations with pubic & also to establish first hand contact with masses, Police station Zakoora convened a public interaction meeting in which good number of respectables of the jurisdiction participated.
The meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Zakoora Inspector Shri R.P. Singh. The participants highlighted various issues of public importance like eradicating menace drug peddling, drug addiction & some issues related to civil administration like availability of ration/electricity during the holy month of Ramadan & cutting of Russian poplars in the area as there spores are creating lot of health issues to the population including children.
Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants SHO Zakoora assured them that issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time & the rest will be taken up with the civil administration for their redressal on priority.
SHO Zakoora also asked participant's to keep cooperating with police as in past, so that the peaceful atmosphere in the area is maintained.
PCPG meeting held in Kupwara
-Kupwara police organized a PCPG meeting at Wavoora area of their jurisdiction which was chaired by SHO Police Station Sogam Shri Mohammad Rafiq.
Respectable citizens of Wavoora area and other civil society members participated in the meeting. The participants highlighted various issues of public importance. The chairing officer assured the participants that their issues pertaining to police will be redressed shortly and other issues will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal.
