| Kavinder highlights Kushok Bakula Rinpochey’s contributions for humanity | | 
Leh(Ladakh), May 19, (Scoop News)-The valedictory function of three day national level seminar on “Bahujan Hitay Bahujan Sukhay Lokanukampaya and Geo-Strategy of Himalayan Region” on the birth centenary celebration of 19th Kushok Bakula Rinpoche was presided over by Deputy Chief Minister J&K State Kavinder Gupta at CIBS, Choglamsar, Leh in august presence of 20th Bakula Rinpoche Thubstan Nawang Jigmet Wangchok and a galaxy of prominent scholars and guests across the nation and abroad yesterday evening.
The Deputy Chief Minister J&K State Kavinder Gupta addressing the valedictory function said that legendary people like Swami Vivekanand and 19th Kushok Bakula Rinpoche were the great sons of the soil who have not only illumined the time they lived in but continued to remain as inspirations for humanity. The main motive of this conference was aimed at integrating the people and the culture of Himalayas for further sustainability and stability of the region and holding this important conference in Ladakh become more relevant in the wake of its strategic importance, Kavinder added.
Highlighting India’s past glory when our great country was known as “ Soney Ki Chidiya” that have unfortunately faded with the passage of time, the Dy. CM hoped that under the dynamic leadership of Shri Narendra Modi India has started regaining its capability and competence to guide other Nations in every spheres of development.
Many high profile scholars and intellectuals also spoke on the occasion and immensely contributed to make this seminar a grand success and meaningful.
