| DGP inaugurates 03 facilities for police personnel in Jammu | |
Jammu, May 21, (Scoop News)-Continuing with its efforts to enhance the facilities for police personnel and their families, Director General of Police, Dr. S.P. Vaid today inaugurated three facilities at Gulshan Ground, Jammu.
DGP inaugurated water bore-well with overhead tank having capacity of 4,40,000 liters per day. This will cater to requirement of 500 families and offices at Gulshan Ground and will solve the scarcity of water supply in the campus.
DGP along with the wards of police personnel inaugurated Upper Subordinate Quarter. He interacted with the families who thanked the DGP for undertaking, completing and commissioning of three facilities.
DGP later on inaugurated an NGO Mess-cum-accommodation. The facility has 58 rooms with attach bathroom and dining hall. The blocks with modern facilities have been constructed to suffice the requirements of the police personnel.
DGP was accompanied by Spl. DGP, Shri V. K Singh, AIG Building PHQ, Shri Abdul Waheed Shah, SSP PCR, Jammu Shri Kulbir Singh, SO to IGP Jammu, Shri Rajesh Sharma, SE PHQ, Shri Rashid Mustafa, AIG Welfare/Communication, Shri Manoj Kumar Pandit, DD Building PHQ, Shri Munish Dutta and other senior officers.
