| Div Com reviews arrangements for Vice President’s visit | | Jammu, May 21, (Scoop News)-Divisional Commissioner, Hemant Kumar Sharma convened a meeting to discuss arrangements for upcoming visit of India’s Vice President, MuppavarapuVenkaiah Naidu’s, here today.
The Vice President is scheduled to visit the State on May 28, 2018 during which he will visit Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) to interact with the scientists there.
Threadbare discussion was held on various important issues related to uninterrupted power supply, security, traffic regulation, health, hospitality and protocol, deployment of fire & emergency services.
Hemant Kumar took detailed stock of arrangements being put in place at the venue of the function. He stressed upon the officers to make sure that all necessary arrangements are made well in time for the successful conduct of the visit.
Among others, IGP Jammu Zone S D Singh, SSP Traffic Joginder Singh, SSP Security Ashok Sharma, SE M&RE Circle I A. K. Sachdeva, Joint Director Information Naresh Kumar, Joint Director (H&P) NaseemJavaid Choudhary, Joint Commissioner JMC Rishpal Singh, Sr. Principal Scientist Dr. Dilip M. Mondhe, Sr. Principal Abdul Rahim besides other senior officers of various departments attended the meeting.
