JKPCC condemns grenade blast near Bus Stand Jammu
Jammu, May 25, (Scoop News)-Expressing serious concern over the grenade attack last night at Bus stand area of Jammu City, J&K Pradesh congress Committee has termed it an eye opener for the security authorities exposing the vulnerability of the system, in the wake of forth coming Amaranth Yatra.

Strongly condemning the incident, JKPCC Chief Shri G.A. Mir has said that it is a matter of serious concern that the terrorists could strike at will as Bus Stand area which is abode of large number of Vaishno Devi pilgrims and tourists and such an happening has exposed the hollowness of the security apparatus besides presence of such elements in the Jammu city. This reflects the failure of the state government and authorities must get up to the challenge in view of the continuous attempts to disturb peace and harmony in Jammu.

It is more unfortunate that at times when Government of India has announced unilateral Ceasefire, in view of holy month of Ramzan, the terrorists and their mentors across the border have been resorting to such incidents apart for heavy shelling on the borders. The State and Centre government, both are responsible for the massive turmoil in Kashmir Valley and deteriorated security scenario in the state, during the past over 3 years besides worst situation on borders with Pakistan.

The party rank and file has expressed deep sympathizes with the injured and prayed for their early recovery and asked the government to provide specialized treatment to the injured.
