Keen to push for industrial growth in JK: Dy CM
Kavinder interacts with members of CCI Jammu

Jammu, May 26, (Scoop News)-Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta today reasserted the resolve of state government to push for industrial growth in the state adding that this sector is the key solution to rising unemployment problem.
The Deputy Chief Minister holding the charge of Industries & Commerce and Transport was interacting with the members of Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry including, CCI Jammu president Rakesh Gupta.
The President Chamber of Commerce & Industry welcomed the Deputy Chief Minister and submitted a Memorandum of demands.
Deputy Chief Minister said that the state government strongly believes in providing full cooperation to the Industry as it can emerge as major economic booster as well as a sustained source for employment generation. He said under various state and central schemes, government is paying focused attention on promotion of local entrepreneurship as well as invite investment from big houses. He asked the Chamber members to approach him any time for any issue related to the Industry and Commerce.
The CCI in its memorandum of demands sought coverage of all industries under Transport Subsidy incentivization announced for a small section of Industries, issuing of notification for the first time ever amnesty on power bills for industry as announced by the present government in the budget speech and power tariff for Hoteliers at par with industry and other issues.
Among others, Lalit Mahajan, Chairman FOI, Ajay Langer, General Secretary BBIA, Pardeep Vaid, General Secretary ASSI, Gangyal, and the office bearers of CCI Rajesh Gupta, Rajeev Gupta, Manish Gupta and Ashu Gupta, Treasurer were also present on the occasion.
