| DIG CKR visits Kheerbhawani, reviewed security arrangements | |
Ganderbal, June 11, (Scoop News)- Deputy Inspector General of Police CKR Shri V.K Birdi today visited Kheerbhawani temple and Baltal base camp to review the security arrangements for the forth coming Mela Kheerbhawani.
On his visit, the DIG was briefed by SSP Ganderbal Shri Fayaz Ahmad Lone about the security measures, being taken during the Mela. He informed the DIG that police and paramilitary forces will be deployed as ROP, Escorts and Frisking etc for the safety and security of devotees. Besides, traffic police will be deployed on the routes connecting the Holy Shrine for smooth traffic regulation.
