| VC JU felicitates Boxers | |
Jammu, June 18, (Scoop News)- Prof. R.D Sharma, Vice-Chancellor University of Jammu today felicitated the boxers of the University of Jammu Boxing Academy namely Sh. Yogesh Sharma (52 kgs), Sh. Rubal Manhas ( 56 kgs) and Sh. Hritik Pandita (75 kgs) who participated in the 4th National Championship organized by the INDU SHREE ORGANIZATION INDIA from June 14 to June 16,2018 at Mapusa (Goa) and won the Gold and Silver medals respectively. Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu was also present on the occasion.
On the basis of performance, Sh. Yogesh Sharma has been selected for further participation in an International competition to be held at Bangkok.
Prof. Sharma congratulated the boxers for their excellent performance and appreciated the efforts of the Director, Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu and S. Harinderpal Singh, the Boxing Coach.
Other present were Sh. Akhilesh Sharma, Sh. Gagan Kumar, Sh. Jai Bharat, S. Harinderpal Singh & Sd. P.D Singh.
