| Kargil police celebrates International Yoga Day | | Kargil, June 21, (Scoop News)-Kargil Police celebrated International Yoga day at District Police Lines Kargil, today, in which 80 police officers/Jawans including lady SPO’s participated. Addl. Superintendent of Police Kargil Shri Arun Gupta and DySP DAR Kargil Shri Regzin Sangdup also took part in the event.
The main aim of the Yoga is to instill physical & mental fitness among the officers/Jawans and to ensure peace of mind. Two PETs were provided by District Youth Services and Sports, Kargil for Yoga Training, besides delivered lectures on the benefits of Yoga.
While speaking on the occasion, the senior police officers expressed that Yoga is an accepted physical/mental exercise and can help officers/Jawans to maintain a perfect fitness and healthy lifestyle.
