| One Terrorist killed in Kupwara Forests | |
Srinagar, July 12, (Scoop News)-A joint patrol of the security forces Tuesday evening launched searches inside the Kandi forest area of District Kupwara.
During the searches, the security forces were fired upon inside the forests leading to an encounter. In the encounter, one terrorist was successfully eliminated by the security forces. On the basis of the documents available, the killed terrorist is believed to be a foreigner from Pakistan.
Moreover one security force Jawan Mukut Behari Meena No:13629786 of 03 PARA also got martyred in the encounter.
Some arms & ammunition were also recovered from the encounter site.Police has registered a case and investigation has been initiated in the instant matter.
