| Army organises lecture on drug de-addiction | |
Jammu,July 18, (Scoop News)-Army organised a lecture on Drug De-Addiction at Cherji with an aim to create awareness amongst the youth about the ill effects of drugs and measures to overcome it.
During the lecture, villagers and students were sensitised about various aspects of drug abuse which included type of drugs and their adverse effects on the health, symptoms and treatment aspects to include rehabilitation. it was exphasised to the youth how the drug traffickers were playing with the lives of the youth by pushing them into a vicious cycle.
The locals applauded the efforts of the army in organising activities which generate awareness and feeling of goodwill in the civil population especially the youth.
