Kavinder Gupta for inclusion of Narwal Bala, Panchayat Darap
and Raina colony in the JMC limits

Jammu, July 22, (Scoop News)-Many deputations of inhabitants of Narwal Bala, Panchayat Darap, Raina Colony in Gandhi Nagar constituency, headed by S. Harbhajan Singh & Sanjeev Kumar, and others called on former Deputy Chief Minister, and MLA Gandhi Nagar Kavinder Gupta here today and highlighted several important issues/problems of the area.
The deputationists also submitted a memorandum of demands to the former Deputy Chief Minster and requested for immediate resolution of these issues of public importance. The issues mostly related to the overall development of the area, the improvement in basic amenities, including Electricity, Lane & Drains, Roads and water.
The deputationists highlighted the demand of inclusion of Narwal Bala village, Darap Panchayat, and Raina colony in the Municipal limits of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) as all these areas have been left out in the recent order by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir. They stressed for taking up the matter with the concerned authorities so that they are not deprived of the basic amenities.
Gupta gave a patient hearing to the demand put by the delegation and ensured that all the left over areas be discussed with the authorities at highest level so that the areas come in the ambit of JMC. Mr. Gupta said that ‘it is the right of every citizen to get all the basic amenities such as Health care, quality education, better Roads, Proper sanitation, round the clock supply of electricity’. He ensured that all the genuine demands shall be fulfilled so as to make Gandhi Nagar constituency a model constituency.
Further, the former Deputy Chief Minister while interacting with the members of the visiting delegation appreciated their concerns and urged them to constantly pursue the issues with the concerned authorities so that the directions are implemented on ground as per the aspirations of the people.
