NC, PDP along with congress responsible for erosion of article 370 from time to time: Vakil
Vakil asked Governor to call for All Party Meeting for Article 35A

Srinagar, August 09 (Scoop News)- President Jammu Kashmir Bachao Tehreek and Former Minister Abdul Gani Vakil today in a statement demanded that the Governor NN Vohra should call for an All Party Meeting on the serious issue of Article 35-A which is set for another hearing in Supreme Court on August 27. Vakil said the people of the State are keenly watching at the developments on Article 35A and any attempt to fiddle with this crucial Article will have the consequences New Delhi would have not even thought about.“It is a matter of life and honour of every citizen of the State. We are one when it comes to special status of our state,” Article 35A is something people of the State can go to any extreme for its dignity and safety. “It is a matter of dignity for us,” Vakil added.
Mr. Vakil said that the Governor being the head of the state has responsibility and obligation towards the State to safeguard its interests and dignity. “It is high time that Governor should convene All Party Meeting to discuss threadbare all the cons of Article 35-A. Any attempt to fiddle with it will have dangerous consequences and New Delhi will be solely responsible for it,” Vakil cautioned. He blamed the dynastic parties of PDP and NC for a state of affairs the State has reduced to now. “It is because of NC, PDP along with Congress that State has reached to such a situation now. They are now shedding crocodile tears on it. They are responsible for erosion of Article 370,” from time to time Vakil said.
Mr. Vakil also demanded the registration of FIR against the killing of Jammu youth Syed Murfid Shah who was killed by CRPF men guarding residence of NC president Farooq Abdullah. “The guilty cops who killed the youth should be punished and the matter should be investigation without any delay,” he said.
