| Flash flood and mudslide damage property in Leh | | SDRF and other rescue teams on Job | 
Srinagar/Leh(Ladakh),August 09 (Scoop News)-Due to the incessant rains in Leh District during the intervening night of 8/9 August flash floods and mudslide washed away two light vehicles and two motorcycles in Saboo and Shey villages.
According to Police spokesman that SDRF rescue team along with other rescue teams from Police and ITBP managed to save the lives of people and cattle of the area. Four foreign tourists were also evacuated to the safer place.
He said that the flood and mudslides damaged the houses, vehicles and standing crops in the area. However, there was no report of any loss of life.
