Police continues its probe on three recent killings in valley
works on multiple leads pertaining to these crimes

Srinagar, September 12, (Scoop News)-Labeling Abdul Ahad Ganai as an Indian Intelligence Officer, Islamic State (IS) has affirmed his killing near Khanyar area in Srinagar on Monday evening.


According to reports, IS in its news website has owned the responsibility of killing an Indian intelligence officer near Babademb area.


Ganai who belonged to Lolab area in Kupwara district was working as a private teacher at his native place and was gunned down by unidentified gunmen in downtown area of the city while on wheels.


Surprisingly, his gunning down was third furtive killing in the valley in as many days. Earlier, a local separatist Hurriyat activist, Hakeen Ur Rehman, was shot dead by some unidentified gunmen near his home town, Sopore. Separatists blamed the intelligence for his killing while police charged militants for committing the crime.


Same day evening, a militant belonging to Islamic State outfit, Asif Nazir Dar, was killed by unidentified gunmen near Hazratbal area.

Police said they were probing all the three case.
