15 engineering students of BGSBU- Rajouri call on Governor Ms M Sinha
advises them to spread message of ' importance of education'




Goa, September 24, (Scoop News)-A group of 15 Engineering students and 2 professors from Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU), Rajouri called on the Governor of Goa, Mrs Mridula Sinha. The students are in Goa on a week long Capacity Building Tour, being conducted under Sadbhavana by Army.



While interacting with the students, the Governor urged the children to spread the message of importance of education when they return home. She also emphasized that children should strive to become responsible and good citizens and contribute meaningfully towards the progress of the nation.


She expressed that the tour would benefit the students immensely as it would help them in understanding the different traditions of this great country and would also enable them to know about the progress being made by the nation in different spheres.


She also said that the students must visit all tourist attractions and must enjoy their stay at the beautiful coastal city of India.



Earlier, giving a brief on the tour, officer-in- charge of the tour, informed Governor that this Capacity Building tour aimed at exposing these college students to the advancements made by the country in various fields.



During the tour, apart from visiting various places like Naval Base and Dockyard, Fishery Industries Ltd., Signal Training School, National Centre for Antarctic and Ocean Research and premier engineering institute Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) various tourist attractions like Dona-Paula, Fort Aguada, Panjim Church, Old Goa, Basilica of Bom Jesus, Gokarna Beach and a cruise on river Mandovi had also been planned.
