JMC launched beautification Drive of Jammu City in collaboration with JK Bank
Jammu, October 10 (Scoop News)-In continuation to its earlier drives for beautification of Jammu City, Jammu Municipal Corporation has initiated a step towards beautification of City of Temples in collaboration with J&K Bank, the basic objective being to project the cultural heritage and the historical importance of Jammu and Kashmir State. The beautification drive was inaugurated with first brush stroke on the wall near Brig. Rajinder Singh Chowk by Divisional Commissioner Jammu Sh. Sanjeev Verma, (IAS) and Chairman/Chief Executive Officer J&K Bank, Sh. Parvaiz Ahmed in presence of Deputy Commissioner Jammu Sh. Ramesh kumar (IAS) Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation Sh. Arvind Kotwal (KAS). The Executive President J&K Bank Sh. R.K Chibber and Sh. Sunil Gupta President J&K Bank were also present.

Divisional Commissioner Jammu appreciated the efforts of Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation and also thanked Chairman J&K Bank for their immense support to JMC in this endeavor towards beautification of Jammu City with new concept of wall paintings. He also lauded the efforts made by Administration and JMC for paintings work done on the Pillars below fly over at Bikram Chowk Jammu. Divisional Commissioner stressed upon all officers to put in collective efforts to enhance aesthetic of City of Temples.
Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation thanked all the dignitaries for being enthusiastically participating in the whole program which shall be carried out further in various parts of Jammu City.

Prabodh Sharma, Executive Engineer (C), Sh. Arun Gupta, Executive Engineer (T) Dr. Saleem Khan, Health Officer,JMC, Sh. Zaffar Iqbal (MVO), JMC, Sh. Talat Mehmood Khan, Chief Transport Officer JMC, Revenue Officers of JMC, Sanitation Officers of JMC and other staff of Bank and JMC were also present on this occasion.
