| JK Police pays tribute to martyrs | |
Srinagar, October 17 (Scoop News)-JK Police pays tribute to martyrs and expresses its indebtedness towards their families.
Martyr Latief Gojri
Shri Latief Gojri son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Kehlil Machama Tral was appointed as follower in J&K Police and had contributed in anti terrorist operations. He attained martyrdom while fighting terrorists in an encounter in Gatengo Laam forest area of Tral on April 24, 2018. Four terrorists including two foreign terrorists were killed in the encounter. He is survived by aged parents, unmarried sister and three younger brothers.
Martyr Aashiq Hussain Malik
Shri Aashiq Hussain Malik son of Mohammad Maqbool Malik resident of Chittergul, Shangus in district Anantnag. He was born on March 07,1995 and had joined police department on June 21,2013 as SPO. He attained martyrdom while valiantly fighting terrorists in an encounter at Sirhama, Bijbehara in which four terrorists were killed on June 22,2018. He is survived by his parents, a younger brother and a minor sister.
