Observe Oct 22 as Black Day to denounce Pak attack in 1947
Pak responsible for violence, terrorism in JK: Jamwal


Jammu, October 20 (Scoop News)-Jammu and Kashmir Unity Foundation(JKUF) has urged the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir in particular and India in general to observe Oct 22 as Black Day to remember the sacrifices of lakhs of Hindus, Sikhs, Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir to defeat the invading Pakistan Army in 1947.
A Seminar titled “Pakistan’s Military Invasion not Tribal Raid of Jammu and Kashmir will be organized on Oct 22, 2018 at Press Club Jammu.
In a press statement issued here today Ajaat Jamwal, president JKUF said that successive governments have not done anything to highlight the brutalities of Pakistan against people of Jammu and Kashmir. But for past six years JKUF has been organizing awareness campaigns highlighting the Pakistan involvement in terrorism in the State. He said that Pakistan is actively engaged in exporting terrorism in the state and has not dismantled the terror infrastructure on its soil.
Jamwal said that Islamic Republic of Pakistan launched its Jihad against India immediately after its formation and mobilized its army and tribals to launch an attack on Jammu and Kashmir.Lakhs of citizens of the State including Hindus, Sikhs, Muslims were killed in the Pakistani attack which needs to be condemned by one and all.
Horrific accounts of the brutalities by Pakistani army are emerging even from the Muslim writers in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir in 1947 attack.
He said it is unfortunate that Govt of India is still reluctant to recognize the violence unleashed in the state by Pakistan and its flanks as Jihad. He said that Pakistan is spreading terror in Muslim society in the State in the name of Islam.
JKUF appealed all the victims of Pakistani Jihad in Jammu and Kashmir, India and abroad to observe Oct 22 as a Black Day to name and shame Pakistan.
