Governor, others greet people on Diwali

Jammu/Srinagar, November 06 (Scoop News)- Governor Satya Pal Malik has extended warm greetings to the people on Diwali, the festival of lights, and hoped that this auspicious occasion would be a harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
In his message of greetings, Governor observed that this festival symbolizes the triumph of truth and righteousness over falsehood and of good over evil and highlights the ethos and high values of the country’s civilization history.
Governor hoped that the festival would further strengthen the bonds of communal harmony, brotherhood, amity, tranquility and secularism, which are the hallmarks of our glorious composite cultural traditions and prayed for the well-being of the people of the State.



Vyas greets people on Diwali
Advisor to Governor BB Vyas has extended warm greetings to the people on Diwali and expressed hope that the auspicious occasion would be a harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity in the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
In a message of greetings, Vyas hoped that the festival would further strengthen the bonds of communal harmony, brotherhood and secularism, which are the hallmarks of our cultural traditions since ages.


Advisor Ganai greets people on Diwali
Advisor to the Governor, Mr. Khurshid Ahmed Ganai, Tuesday conveyed his warm greetings and good wishes to the people on the auspicious occasion of Diwali, the Festival of Lights.
In his message of greetings, Ganai prayed for the wellbeing of the people and hoped that the great festival would be harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity in the state.

DGP greets people on Deepawali

Director General of Police Shri Dilbag Singh extends Diwali greeting to the people of the State, families of martyrs and police personnel. He has wished the people a blissful festival.

In his message, DGP said the festival symbolizes victory of light over darkness and good over evil. He has expressed hope that the festival will bring joy and happiness among the people of the State.
