| Ladakh Scouts inducts 172 young recruits after undergoing rigorous training | | Gen Joshi gives away awards to soldiers for their outstanding performance during training |
Leh(Ladakh), November 11, (Scoop News)-An impressive attestation parade was held at the Regimental Centre of Ladakh Scouts while inducting 172 young recruits after undergoing rigorous training.
The recruits took oath in unison to serve the nation with dedication belonged to different parts of the region and were awarded medals for their outstanding performance during the training.
The ceremony held in accordance with highest traditions of the Indian army, was reviewed by the Corps Commander of the Fire and Fury Corps and the Colonel of the Regiment JAK RIF besides Ladakh Scouts, Lieutenant General, YK Joshi, was also attended by a wide range of civil and military dignitaries, war veterans of the regiment and parents of the young soldiers.
While reviewing, Gen Joshi exhorted the young recruits to continue to strive hard in pursuit of excellence in all spheres and take a solemn vow to defend the sovereignty of the nation despite of all odds in the true spirit signified by the ethos of the Indian army.
