Master Madhav of SMVD Gurukul secures 1st position in University | |
Katra, November 19, (Scoop News)_Master Madhav Sharma, student of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Gurukul, Charan Paduka, Katra, has secured first position in the entire university by securing highest marks in the annual examination of class 8th conducted by the Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Varanasi, in May 2018.
On his outstanding achievement, Master Madhav Sharma was awarded Vakratund Shukal Swaran Padak (Gold Medal) by the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, who is Chancellor of the Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, at its convocation held at Varanasi earlier this month.
Mr. Simrandeep Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, congratulated Master Madhav on his remarkable achievement and felicitated him here today.
The CEO said that the excellent coaching and provision of other facilities provided by the Shrine Board and the hard work being put in by the students has resulted in spectacular performance by the students of the Gurukul in academics and co-curricular activities year after year.
Dr. Arvind Karwani, Dy. CEO, SMVDSB and Administrator of the Gurukul and Dr. Devendra Rijal, Vice Principal were present on the occasion.
Presently, 162 students are studying from class 6th to Shastri Part-II at this fully residential Gurukul which was established by the Shrine Board in 2010. The Shrine Board provides education, boarding, lodging, uniforms, books etc, free of cost to the students.
The Shrine Board has also made elaborate arrangements for indoor and outdoor games at the Gurukul for all round personality development of the students.... |
