| Dy Chairman LAHDC, Leh for uninterrupted power supply during Losar | |
Leh, November 19 ((Scoop News)-To ensure smooth and uninterrupted power supply through NHPC Project Alchi in winter months and especially during upcoming Losar festival, the Deputy Chairmen, LAHDC, Leh Gyal P Wangyal today convened a meeting with General Manager NHPC P.P Singh Walkh.
Manager (Elect.) NHPC Manoj Narnawre, PDD AEE Rinchen Wangmo and PDD AEE Chosying Dorjai were also present during the meeting.
The Dy. Chairmen, LAHDC Leh directed engineers of NHPC and PDD to ensure utmost coordination with each other for ensuring uninterrupted power supply to the public.
Meanwhile, the engineers of PDD appealed the general public to use electricity judiciously. They informed the Dy. Chairman that special checking squads have been constituted which will make surprise checking of different areas. If any family is found having an illegal connection or found using heavy electric gadgets, they will face disconnection of their power supply and a penalty, the engineers said.
