Srinagar, December 2, (Scoop News)-After being praised by, former Australian ace spinner, Shane Warne, seven year old bowler, Ahmed, from Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir has become an internet sensation for his bowling technique.
Responding to a video of the boy bowling during a local cricket match earlier this year and posted by Srinagar based correspondent for a private new channel in Kashmir on his twitter account, Warne tweeted “This is outstanding. Well bowled young man.”
“Easily, ball of the century. A googly that turns a metre and a half@Shane Warne take a look. You have some competition,” the journalist tweeted. A seven year old cricketer from Ganderbal, a prodigy, I guess, he tweeted in reply to Warne.
Over 60,000 viewers have watched the video and after Warne’s praise for boy, Ahmed received lot of public attention and his feat was telecast on Fox Cricket channel during the lunch break of ongoing match being played at Adelaide between India and Australia. ... |
