| Police inaugurates Budgam Volleyball Knockout Championship 2018 | |
Srinagar, December 11 (Scoop News)- Budgam Volleyball Knockout Championship 2018 was inaugurated by Shri Tejinder Singh-IPS SSP Budgam at Sheikh- ul- Alam Stadium Chrarisharief Budgam. ASP Budgam Shri Majid Malik and other officers were also present at the inaugural function.
The Championship is being organised by District Police Budgam. 16 teams are participating in the championship.
First match of the tournament was played between Gariend Club Vs Budgam Strikers in which Budgam Strikers emerged as winners by 3 Points.
The aim of holding such Championship is to inculcate the sense of sportsmanship and amity among the participants.
Locals lauded the efforts of Budgam police for organizing such events which help in nurturing the talent of youth.
