| Annual day function organisez at army goodwill school, Budkot | |
Srinagar,December 15 (Scoop News)-The 14th Annual Day of Army Goodwill School, Budkot was celebrated with great zeal and fervour at the Sheikh-ul-Alam Environment Awareness Centre, Handwara on 14th December 2018. The Annual Day function was a cultural extravaganza which included Bhangra dance, Folk dance, Indian Classical dance, Group dance, Rap songs and Martial Arts display by the students thereby showcasing the immense talent pool that the school nurtures.
Over 600 people attended the function including prominent personalities like the Chairman, Army Goodwill School; Chief Judicial Magistrate, Handwara; Additional Superintendent of Police, Handwara and Principal, Degree College Handwara. While addressing the gathering, the Chairman of Army Goodwill School, Budkot, emphasised upon the need of value education which needs to be inculcated as a part of our day to day life. He also thanked the parents for their integral support in the overall growth of the students and praised the efforts of the school management for the outstanding performance of AGS, Budkot in sports and extra-curricular activities. The function culminated with a prize distribution ceremony wherein the students were rewarded in different categories with certificates and prizes. Also, the teachers and students of the school were complemented for the exemplary conduct of the event.
