CIF (U) pays homage to brave hearts who laid down their lives during Indo- Pak war in 1971
lays wreath at 'Wall of Remembrance'


Udhampur, December 16, (Scoop News)-Counter Insurgency Force (Uniform), in a solemn ceremony held on Sunday and paid homage to the brave hearts who laid down their lives fighting during the Indo-Pak war in 1971.

On December 16, 1971, India won a huge victory over Pakistan and the day is celebrated as 'Vijay Diwas' every year to mark the bravery of Armed forces and to remember the sacrifices made b them.
In order to commemorate this and pay homage to the martyrs, Counter Insurgency Force Headquarters celebrated the occasion with a wreath laying ceremony at 'Wall of Remembrance' which was witnessed by all ranks .
The General Officer Commanding, Counter Insurgency Force exhorted all ranks to emulate the devotion and dedication of war veterans and martyrs, which has brought the Indian Army to the pinnacles of professional glory....
