| CPI(M) present floral tributes to Makhan Lal Bhat | |
Jammu, February 10 (Scoop News)-Communist Party of India(Marxist) held a condolence meeting to present floral tributes to its leader, Makhan Lal Bhat, who breathed his last on February 1, 2019 at Jammu. The occasion was presided over by G.N.Malik, State Secretary CPI(M), J&K, in which dozens of party activists participated.
While highlighting the contribution of M.L.Bhat in strengthening the progressive movement in the state, M.Y.Tarigami, senior CPI(M) leader said that right from his student life he was associated with the party activities in the Kulgam area. Later he remained associated with the teacher’s movement in the state. His role in strengthening the party at the grass roots level can be remembere for times to come.
G.N.Malik, State Secretary CPI(M), J&K, said that being a firm believer of plural ethos and communal harmony Comrade M.L.Bhat always held the view that restoration of composite culture in Kashmir valley is essential to strengthen the age old brotherhood in the region and he tirelessly worked in this direction.
R.L.Tickoo, Secretary, Migrant Cell CPI(M) said that late comrade M.L.Bhat till his death struggled on the issues being faced by Kashmiri migrants at Jammu and was the president of the migrant cell CPI(M).
