Geelani blames India for its unrelenting conduct, claims he has a blueprint for solving Kashmir issue.


Srinagar, June 15, (Scoop News)-Blaming India for its recalcitrance, separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani, claimed that there was an agreement on a blueprint to resolve the vexed Kashmir issue but New Delhi acts as an impediment.

Surprisingly, octogenarian leader didn’t offer any explanation to substantiate his contention.

In a statement circulated to media houses by his group Tehreek e Hurriyat (TeH) on Friday evening, Geelani said his faction has a vision about the resolution of conflict through negotiation. Earlier, he had meeting with all his constituents at his residence.

“On several occasions we had agreed upon a formula but India has remained unrelenting and unyielding thus thwarting any forward movement in this direction,” TeH leader said.

Appealing the world community to build pressure on India for an early resolution of the issue, Geelani claimed that India was determined to curb the freedom sentiment by using its military might.
