Sonamarg, June 15, (Scoop News)-In a perfect display of honesty, a snow mobile van operator returned a bag containing cash and some other valuable items to a tourist family who had lost it near zero point Zojila.
Expressing gratitude for his gesture, the family suitably rewarded Bilal Ahmed Malik, a snow mobile van operator, with Rs 5,000 in cash.
“They (family) felt obliged to the operator and his union and praised them for their noble gesture,” said a local pony owner, Abdul Ahad.
A tourist family from Chandigarh was on a visit to tourist resort of Sonamarg, 80 km east of Srinagar, the summer capital, from where from they went on a local sightseeing to zero point on Friday where they lost the handbag containing cash and other valuables.
Hours later, a snow mobile operator from the local union contacted the family and returned the bag that he had found near zero point. ... |
