Are we scared of competition

Abhijeet Singh jasrotia

Domicile law is appearing like a draconian law to many Aspirants in J&K. But I would like to draw attention of everyone towards a famous movie “3 idiots” where Baba Ranchod Das Chanchad says.. “Beta Kabil Bano Kamyabi Khud Jhakh Mar Ke Tumahre Peeche Aayagi”.

I still remember my college days when the fire of mandal commission engulfed the whole country and we in our colleges got a great gift of open choice. The syllabus was reduced to half and above that we were given open choice things were like dream come true and we became so casual that we hardly studied but still were able to get good marks. But the cost which we, as students had to pay was, little knowledge which was insufficient to crack national level papers and so could not hold position of eminence. Today I realize that excessive liberty always makes you incompetent.

Why do we need special status? Are we incapable then other students of INDIA? Are the education standards of our state not up to the mark? Sorry friends but just go by the data of civil servants and you will find that the maximum count is from the lower strata of society.. You can pick and choose the data of JKPSC and again you will find that the maximum number of selections is from rural areas where scope of education is far less than the urban areas. So my dear pals always remember there is no substitute of hard work and hard work always pays.

Government cleared domicile and we started feeling deceived and abandoned. But, why? Is it because we lack potential and caliber to fight for our respective goals or we are scared to compete with rest of India. Those who have accepted defeat before the battle begins have got a safe option of looking for class 4 jobs. But if we aim higher then there is no need to wail over Gov’t verdict instead we should pack our bags and get ready to achieve what we aim for. This special status had compacted us. So one should get up everyday and be thankful that we got rid of this article and welcome the upcoming time with goodwill.’

We should be thankful that no more merit will be manipulated by Political Godfathers of J&K….and every aspirant will have fare chance to get his share as per his merit.

As very true goes the saying ’’ when the going gets tough the tough get going “.

Let us all buckle up our shoes and WITH THE DINT OF OUR KNOWLEDGE n hard work we will not let anyone take our jobs and will fight for our place & position in the society, in the country AND in the world…..

Moreover let us not forget that nearly 75-80%% of govt jobs are from class 4 and for the rest 20% I think everyone would like to get the best stuff so let us prove that we are not average but outshining students of J&k and we do not have a callous approach to our careers. Otherwise those who don’t change with time ,time shall change them…

The students of J&K no longer need the crutch of article 370 but are ready to face any and every type of competition….
