DDC Kathua distributes immunity booster medicines among QC inmates
Kathua, April 06 (Scoop News)-District Development Commissioner, O P Bhagat distributed immunity booster ayurvedic medicines among the inmates of Quarantine Centers in Kathua to enhance the body`s immunity, which plays an important role in maintaining optimum health.
These immunity booster medicines will also be distributed free of cost among Health workers, PRIs, Old Age Homes, QCs, Municipalities, Civil and Police administration at Bani, Basholi, Billawar, Hiranagar and Kathua, DDC said.
He also advised the inmates to maintain social distancing even during quarantine period and try to keep personal hygiene as well as cleanliness around their surroundings.
DDC informed that 45300 food packets have been served among the needy, destitute and laborers. 12 NGOs have been assisting the district administration in providing langers to 10000 persons per day and stranded laborers have been kept at 63 different locations across District. Besides, in 67 different Administrative Quarantine Centers, 2532 inmates have been provided food and shelter and 743 inmates who have completed their mandatory quarantine were sent back to their respective districts. DDC added that 215 families were distributed free Rice, Pulses, Cooking oil, Salt and Potatoes etc during the lockdown.
ADMO AYUSH, Dr. Vikram Jamwal, Nodal Officer, Dr. Ajay Sudan and other officers were also present on the occasion.
