| Donations pour in to fight COVID-19 | |
Leh,April 06 (Scoop News)- In the wake of COVID-19, general public of Ladakh is highly appreciative of the efforts put in by the UT Administration under the leadership of Lt. Governor of UT Ladakh. And in this time of war against COVID-19, people of Ladakh are also coming forward and contributing in their own various ways by donating towards LG Relief Fund UT Ladakh.
Karma Dupgyud Choeling Monastery Choglamsar handed over a cheque of Rs. 2,00,000/- (two lakh); President and members of Ladakh Contractors Association Leh handed over a cheque of Rs. 5,00,000/- (five lakh); President and members of Geskul Shesrig Tsogspa Saboo Leh Ladakh handed over a cheque of Rs. 2,00,000/- (two lakh) and offered to extend volunteer services in whatever capacity is needed by the UT Administration.
President and members of Welfare for Community Development, Old Skampari-A, Leh handed over a donation sum of Rs. 55,000/- (Fifty five thousand) and expresses their gratitude to all the efforts of Health Department.
President and members of Ladakh Buddhist Association Women Wing hander over a cheque of Rs. 1,00,000/- (one lakh); Members of Kunthus Tsogspa Nimoo village handed over a cheque of Rs. 1,00,000/- (one lakh); and President and members of Ex-Servicemen League handed over a cheque of Rs. 30,000/- (thirty thousand) towards LG Relief Fund UT Ladakh.
All the donations were handed over to the Com/Sec Rigzin Samphel Health UT Ladakh today.
While a cheque of Rs. 1.10 lakhs (one lakh ten thousand) towards LG Relief Fund UT Ladakh was handed over to Com/Sec Health yesterday.
