Pandit - Muslim Brotherhood: Kashmiri's wishing KP's on Kheer Bhavani




Srinagar, May 31 (Scoop News)-Eid couldn't be celebrated this year the way as it used to be and the celebration of Kheer Bhawani was also muted due to covid-19 lockdown. In this hard time kashmiriyat between Kashmiri Muslims and Kashmiri pandits emerged as never before. Where on Eid, greetings from Kashmiri pandits to Muslims won hearts across the valley, Kashmiri Muslims greeted Pandits too on the occasion of Mela Kheer Bhawani.

A video came out on social media posted by kashmiri first ever podcaster The Mashq talks in which Famous kashmiri influencers wished KPs on their religious occasion.

Farhana bhat, a kashmir based Bollywood Actress wished KPs in the video saying " we wish kheer bhawaani to all our Kashmiri pandits brothers and sisters."
Bhat also said "May we all live a happy and prosperous life ahead "

Likewise many other strong influencers also wished KPs in the video.

Network 18 editor Rajesh Raina, Ex SMC Commissioner Shafqat khan, Film producer Pragya Rathore various other well known figures shared the video and thanked Rj Umer Nisar for this featuring the video.

Mufti Islah, a senior Journalist also appreciated the video by quoting : "Good messaging in the last few weeks. First Kashmir Pandits sending greetings on Eid to their Muslim brethren and now KMs wishing them on Mela Kheerbhawani festival. Good going folks. Spread love. What will the familiar hatemongers do now? How will they run their shop?"

A Kashmiri Pandit Mohit Bhan also reverted to the video saying; "Love & warmth will help us bridge the gap. Heartwarming greetings on "Zyeth Atham" from a generation which grew up without KP''s around them. KP community this year couldn't light lamps at Tullamulla due to Covid."

Keeping the Kashmiriyat alive both the communities warmheartedly wished each other and shared video messages to greet each other. Those videos were shared and re-shared many times on social media.

The message could not have come at the right time then this when the some vested interests are hell-bent to create wedge between two communities. Kashmiriyat has withstood everything in the past and it continues to do so (sic),” wrote Ajay Koul a social media user.

“Love you guys’ Eid Mubarak ‘ trust me your Kashmir is missing you & we Kashmiris are anxiously waiting for your return to Valley,” wrote a social media user.

Mubarak to you on the big occasion of Tulmulla (the place where Kheer Bhawani temple is located). May you always smile and be happy,” greets Dr. Ommid in a video.

Hence The Mashq talks featured a video of kashmiri Muslims wishing Kashmiri pandits on their festival as a gesture of affection and promoting peace and brotherhood which was appreciated and shared on social media widely.
