JKPCC accuses BJP of putting Jammuties to great economic burden by installing toll plazas

Jammu, July 31 (Scoop News)- Accusing BJP of putting Jammuties to great economic burden by installing toll plazas besides likely to give another gift of privatization of Electricity, while now justifying these moves, which they opposed before, reflecting their dual standards of BJP leaders.

In a statement several JKPCC senior leaders have questioned the self contradictory stands of the BJP over the issue of toll plazas and termed it hypocrisy of the party for changing colours like chameleon on issues. They said that the BJP state unit through its President initially opposed the toll plaza at Sarore last year and also openly declared that there is no provision of toll plazas in the UTs across India. The BJP claimed that it would be reviewed by Centre Govt. or BJP would demolish it.

However having failed to achieve the target and when another toll plaza has come up at Lakhanpur, the top BJP leaders including it UT President has gone into hibernation, while some other team of leaders are seen teaching lessons to the people about the highway norms, to hide their failures. This shows the bankruptcy of the BJP and not only duel face, but also their arrogant style and worst kind of hypocrisy.

The utterly failed BJP leaders who could not respect and represent the sentiments of the people of Jammu region, despite huge mandate, would do well if they keep mum rather than trying to prove that the people who voted them to power, an either ignorant about rules and regulations of national high way. What right BJP has got to justify this, when they not only strongly opposed the same but resorted to disruptions before elections in 2014 and also opposed the same last year, also claiming that no such toll plazas exist in UTs and now justify in the same while blaming the opposition for reminding BJP of their commitments.

Please shun such an approach towards the people, who question you after voting you to power, urged Congress to the BJP.
They said that yet another gift of the BJP to the people is in the pipeline that is the privatization of electricity, which will not jeopardize the rights of employees and daily wagers in the department but shall highly overburden the common and poor people. Instead of checking leages and pilferage or theft by the influential people & the unmetered sections, the Govt. has resorted to privatization against the interests of poor people. They sought immediate roll back of toll plazas and review of the decision of privatization of electricity.
