49 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh | 86 patients cured and discharged | Leh (Ladakh), October 20(Scoop News)- As per the media bulletin released on (19-10-2020) by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 49 person tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, 46 positive sample reports were received by CMO Leh and 03 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil. The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 86 patients. Out of which 77 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and 09 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has decreased to 880; 724 in Leh district and 156 in Kargil district. Out of 46 positive sample reports received by CMO Leh, 13 positive sample reports were detected through Rapid Antigen Test, 02 positive sample reports were detected through True Nat and 31 positive sample reports were received from Covid Lab. Chuchot. While, out of 03 positive sample report received by CMO Kargil, 02 positive sample reports weredetected through Rapid Antigen Test and 01 positive sample report was detected through True Nat. The bulletin further informed that, 226 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 153 trucks, tankers and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi Check Post on Sunday. Similarly, 155 passengers including the drivers and helpers of 128 trucks, tankers and light motorvehicles were also screened at Khaltsi Check Post. 155 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday.
