Jammu, August 04 (Scoop News)- Apni Party President Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari has condoled the demise of legendary Dogri Poetess, Padma Sachdev.
In his condolence message, Altaf Bukhari has expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Sachdev, a recipient of Padam Shri and Sahitya Akademi Awards, who worked for the promotion of the Dogri language in Jammu and Kashmir.
Bukhari remembered her rich contribution to the world of literature and paid his respect to the departed soul. He said that her passing away has created a void in the literary world.
“She will be remembered for her work and dedication towards the heritage protection and promotion of the language she loved the most,” he added.
He prayed for the departed soul and courage to the family members to bear this irreparable loss.
