PM Modi delivered justice to all communities of UT: Vibodh

Jammu, August 05 (Scoop News)- To mark two years of the historic abrogation of Article 370 and 35(A) from the Indian Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, celebrations are going on all over the nation. Particularly, in Jammu and Kashmir, this day holds even greater significance and consequently, is being celebrated with an even greater zeal. At various points across the UT, people are enthusiastically celebrating to commemorate two years of the government's historic decision that changed their lives in an unprecedented and positive manner.
The Seh-Prabhari (Co-Incharge) of BJP Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Ashish Sood, visited Poonch, where he paid due respect to the statue of Shaheed Brigadier Pritam Singh and garlanded his statue with utmost reverence. An all-inclusive programme, encompassing people of all castes, creeds and religions, was also conducted at the “Chakka Da Bagh" Trade Centre at Zero Point, Line of Control (LoC)

Ashish Sood was accompanied by BJP Jammu and Kashmir’s General Secretary Vibodh Gupta, Vice President Virendra Jeet Singh, Ex-MLC Pradeep Sharma and District President Mohammed Rafique Chishti.

A mesmerizing “Tiranga Yatra" was also undertaken, wherein Ashish Sood addressed the people, explaining to them how the abrogation of Article 370 and 35(A) was not merely concerned with the greater inclusion of Jammu and Kashmir within the Indian State but also served the main purpose of “developmental politics", as envisioned by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Sood emphasized that the visionary leadership of PM Modi and his revolutionary dream of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas" has been the core ideal of the development of Jammu and Kashmir ever since Article 370 and 35(A) have been abrogated. This has made possible the efficient implementation of anti-corruption laws in the UT, and has also been instrumental in giving the essential rights to migrants residing there. It is the abrogation of Article 370 and 35(A) which has ensured that the fruits of the UT's development also reaches to the Valmiki Community, which had earlier been deprived of the benefits of progress because of the selfish political motives of some families that previously ruled Jammu and Kashmir. This bold move of the government has ensured great transparency, by virtue of which, the schemes conceived in Delhi are reaching to the residents of far-fetched areas of the UT.

Shri Vibodh Gupta said that the abrogation of Article 370 and 35(A), besides ensuring several other benefits, has also ensured the sustainable development of all communities of J&K including Pahari and Gujjar-Bakerwal communities. Gujjar-Bakerwal long-pending demand of political reservation was fulfilled while 4% reservation was given to Pahari community, he added. He accused previous governments of Congress, PDP and NC of befooling people especially these socially and economically backward classes on the behest of Article 370 and 35 A but the BJP led central government under the leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi delivered justice to them.

Ashish Sood also highlighted the developmental politics of PM Modi and its implications in the context of UT's progress. He threw light on the fact that the abrogation of Article 370 and 35(A) strengthened the Panchayati Raj structure of Jammu and Kashmir. The provision of direct funding from the Panchayats has ensured that the allocated money reaches the masses, thereby boosting development at grassroots level. Earlier, Jammu and Kashmir was riddled with corruption, but ever since the articles have been abrogated, there has been a great deal of transparency and accountability.
Furthermore, a plethora of laws such as the Right to Education, Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act (2001), National Minorities Commission Act and several such acts benefiting all residents of Jammu and Kashmir In general, and women, children and the disabled in particular, are now being effectively implemented. People can now reap the sure-shot benefits of these Acts, which they previously could not. A total of 106 people-friendly laws and 9 constitutional amendments are being made applicable.
Thus, Ashish Sood emphasized how all parameters of good governance have been established by Modi Government with the much-awaited abrogation of Article 370 and 35(A). This brought about considerable changes in the lives of the residents of Jammu and Kashmir. However much may the opposition parties try to coax common people that this decision is against them, Sood said that the people should be cognizant of the fact that this audacious move of the government, as aforesaid, has been taken for their benefit only. The abrogation of the much despised articles that hindered the development of Jammu and Kashmir, has paved the way to a new dawn of progress in the UT, which is promising and all-encompassing.
