| 4 positive cases reported in UT Ladakh | | 6 patients cured and discharged |
Leh, October 16 (Scoop News)- As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, four new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. While a total of 648 sample reports in UT Ladakh - Leh:476 and Kargil: 172 were found negative.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged six patients yesterday, five were discharged by CMO Leh one were discharged by CMO Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 42; 41 in Leh and 1 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2250 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 280 and 193 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts.
