DC Kargil chairs DCC, DLRC meeting, stresses on collaborative efforts by banks
Kargil, December 04(Scoop News)- Deputy Commissioner and CEO LAHDC Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve (IAS) today chaired the meeting of District Consultative Committee, District Level Review Committee and District Level Review Action Committee at Conference Hall Baroo.
The meeting was attended by Lead District Manager, General Manager DIC, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer and representatives of different banks and line departments of Kargil District.
The Deputy Commissioner instructed all banks to clear the pendency of various government-sponsored schemes by reconciliation with the line department and thereby increase the transparency for sanctioning and disbursement of various loans.
He also instructed various departments to sponsor more loans and increase the achievement percentage of the annual credit plan of the district upto the end next quarter of the financial end 2021-22.
The DC instructed all banks and line departments to create more awareness about the government-sponsored schemes specially MUDRA, PMEGP and KCC, BENEFITS OF PMJJBY, PMSBY and APY so that more people are benefited and avail the social security schemes.
He also reviewed the status of State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Kargil and approved the annual action plan for next Financial Year 2022-23 for conducting training programs.
The meeting reviewed the performances of banks in implementing government schemes and loans during the financial year 2021-22 up to the quarter ended September 2021 within Kargil.
The meeting discussed various issues related to credit linkage under various government schemes while better achievement and solutions for existing problems were also discussed.
Tsering Wangmo, Lead District Manager, Kargil informed that up to quarter ended September 2021 banks operating in the district have achieved 33.47% by disbursing a total credit of Rs 124.30 crores under Priority Sectors against the Annual Credit Plan Target ( ACP) Rs 371.39 crores.
The overall achievement (under Priority and Non-priority sector) by all the banks and departments in the district is 52.99%.
