| Army foils infiltration cum narco smuggling bid along loC in Tangdhar sector | |
Srinagar, May 20 (Scoop News)- Indian Army eliminated an Infiltration and Narcotics smuggling bid in forward areas of Tangdhar sector last night.
Alert troops on the Anti-infiltration grid intercepted two terrorists trying to infiltrate into own side in the forward area close to the Line of Control. The two intruding terrorists were fired upon, leading to elimination of one terrorist, while grievously injuring the other. However, the injured terrorist managed to flee to PoJK side, taking advantage of darkness. A thorough search operation launched in the morning resulted in recovery of the dead terrorist, two AK series rifles, two pistols, two grenades along with 10 packets of narcotics.
