| National Institute of Sowa Rigpa Leh organises yoga event at Sindhu Ghat | | 
Leh, June 07 (Scoop News)-To gear up for the celebration of International Yoga Day on 21 June 2023, the National Institute of Sowa-Rigpa, Leh in collaboration with All India Institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi organised an event themed ‘Yoga at High Altitude’ at Sindhu Ghat today.
Director, National Institute of Sowa-Rigpa, Leh, Dr. Padma Gurmet highlighted the importance of Yoga for mental and physical health. He informed that the theme of this year- International Yoga Day is ‘Yoga for Humanity’. He expressed gratitude to the team of All India Institute of Ayurveda for collaborating with the National Institute of Sowa Rigpa, Leh for the promotion of Yoga.
Yoga performance was conducted by all the participants as per the common Yoga protocol of the Ministry of Ayush.
Students of the Central Institute of Buddhist Studies (CIBS), Mahabodhi School, National Institute of Sowa-Rigpa, and members of the All India Institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi participated in the event.
