Jammu, April 23, (Scoop News)-A spirited Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, Anand Jain, has been posted Inspector General of Police (IGP) Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB)- Jammu and Kashmir.
He shall also hold charge of Director ACB.
According to a government order No 15- GAD (Vig) of 2019 dated 22. 4. 2019, S Anand Jain IPS, IGP Hqrs, PHQ has been transferred and posted as IGP ACB with immediate effect. The officer shall hold the charge of Director, ACB till further orders.
Meanwhile, two retired J&K cadre IAS have taken oath for powerful constitutional posts at Raj Bhavan in Jammu on Tuesday.
Hilal Ahmed Parray IAS (Retd) has taken oath as Vigilance Commissioner while KB Aggarwal IAS (Retd) was sworn as an Ombudsman for Panchayat by the Governor this morning. ... |
