| *Shiluk sozz*– a poetic collection of poet with Disability released in Pulwama | |
Pulwama,July 20 (Scoop News)-A high level programme of district cultural society Pulwama was organised at town hall Pulwama. A number of poets, writers and thinkers participated social workers and other dignitaries were present. The presidential desk include Ranjoor Tilgami, Ghulam Rasool Mashkoor,Chief education officers and Javed Ahmad Tak.
Deputy commissioner Pulwama was the chief guest on the occasion.
On the occasion a poetic amalgamation of poet with disability was released. It is the 5th Book named as Shiluk soz released by the author facing severe disability.
G. R Mashkoor gave cordial welcome to the participants. He threw light on contribution of poet with disability Mushtaq Ahmad Mushtaq whose book *Shiluk sozz* was released on the occasion.
Young poet Nadim Shokiya gave overview of writings of Mushtaq Ahmad Mushtaq. He explained the all poems penned in the book shiluk sozz. She presented complete picture of life history of poet with disability Mushtaq Ahmad Mushtaq. She completed the speech with a poetic line *Atture kya chuss pather yem pov Mushtaq*
Izhaar mubashir a young poet from south kashmir gave an overwhelming speech to encourage the poet with disability Mushtaq. He talked on the present scenario of poetry and stressed on young poetses to take overview of poets like Rahman Dar Ahad zarger soch kral and ahmad batwaree and Rusul mir etc. He said young poets should contribute new poetry and not to repeat old in new ways. Gazal, Nazam and Naat should be presented in a way that it should affect the common masses and bring change in attitude of humans.
Highlighting the contribution of mushtaq Ahmad Mushtaq, Izhar said that government should encourage poets facing different status and challenges by purchasing books written by them
Shahzada Meemandaree Talking on contributions of poets of pulwama like Mahjoor. He said poets like Mushtaq have changed the mindset of common masses. Poetry is not easy task but mushtaq Ahmad Mushtaq has proved that when will power is generated by a person he can cross all barriers to do whatever he wants.
Naseem ul Gani Chief Education officer Pulwama said that kashmiri poets have capability to write all types of qualitative poetry. He said there is collectively need to preserve kashmiri language. He described as ability and described that persons with disabilities are those who have attitudenal immaturity. All the books will be recommended to school libraries throughout valley CEO added
President Handicapped association Abdul Rashid Bhat said that Mushtaq Ahmad Mushtaq beingv100% disabled has collected mirth to bring laurels to disability sector. so he announced Rs 10000/- He stressed on creation of accessibility in whole pulwama district
A senior poet of pulwama district Aijaz Lalu said that Persons with diaabilities are just facing challenge in order to be away from the sins and crimes. Hence the disability sector is highly valuable part of the world and we should extend support.
Renowed poet Ranjoor Tilgami in his speech said that attitudenal disability is too much in our society. Mushtaq Ahmad Mushtaq is now contributory poet with five books hence he has completely able and capable. He said that poets should contribute for the development of society.

Renowned diaability activist Javed Ahmad Tak who was guest of honor on the occasion said that it is the collective role of community stakeholders and persons with disabilities to work for the safeguard of rights of persons with disabilities. There is dependence of persons with disabilities on family relatives and society. Hence all should ensure to minimise sufferings of persons with severe disabilities. The access to services is the basic right of persons with disabilities hence stake holders need to be highly sensitive about the protection of rights and delivering the service's in favour of persons facing servere disabilities.
Syed Abid Rashid Shah Deputy commissioner pulwama who was chief guest on the occassion said that persons with disability are morally strong despite having deficiency in bodies. He said less people develop efforts to pen down books. He assured that persons with disabilities are tge hope of the time. He accepted disable persons as torch bearers. Disabled persons need no sympathy but empathy and enabling atmosphere and no body has right to snatch the self esteem of the pwds. We are motivated and our eyes stand opened eyes by efforts of Mushtaq DC sahed added.
