| MS DH Udhampur refutes news report | |
Jammu, September 24 (Scoop News)-Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Udhampur has refuted a news report appearing in a Hindi daily alleging the hospital of not taking proper care of the covid-19 patients.
In this regard Medical superintendent, Dr. Vijay Raina said that district hospital Udhampur is designated as Covid Health Care Centre for caring for mild symptomatic Covid-19 patients but now a significant influx of patients with moderate to severe symptoms are coming to the District hospital.
Only those patients who require assessment and medication are brought to the nursing area and the rest of the patients are given medication at bed site.
He further added that regular visits by staff/Doctors are being conducted as per protocol and internal Audit is also being conducted for cleanliness and hygiene, bed sheets are changed on a daily basis and need basis.
Potable water with RO has been installed and is in working condition. Patients are also made aware about the segregation of waste. Hence the report published is baseless and concocted.
