First Batch of officials of UT Ladakh completed the week-long ICT Training


Leh (Ladakh), September 25(Scoop News)-First batch of officials of UT Ladakh completed the week-long ICT Training for the middle and junior level officials conducted by the IT Department Ladakh from 21st to 25th September 2020. The training was conducted in collaboration with the NIELIT Leh.

ICT training for middle and junior level officials was inaugurated by Lieutenant Governor, Radha Krishna Mathur on 21st September 2020.

The training was conducted on Information and Communications Technology and the modules such as using GUI Operating System tools, Microsoft Office suite, Social Media Applications, Google Suite, File Management System, Internet applications and various other open-source applications were covered.

The training was attended by 21 participants across different departments of UT Ladakh in the first batch. Mudasir Satar (NIELIT – Srinagar) was the trainer in charge and conducted the training successfully along with the NIELIT Leh faculties.

Administrative Secretary, UT Ladakh Ravinder Kumar graced the closing ceremony with his presence as the Chief Guest and also distributed certificates to all the participants. In his address to the participants, Adm/Secy Ravinder Kumar emphasized upon the importance of being digitally literate in this digital era. He further added that all office work and file processing that are being done manually will soon be replaced digitally through e-office.

The 2nd batch of the ICT Training will be conducted at NIELIT, Leh from 28th September till 03rd October 2020.
